I’ve been searching high and low for good eye creams for my often dry eyes as even though I’m dutiful in applying eye cream morning and night, on bad days my undereye area looks tired, dry and I’ve immediately aged 10 years.

I regularly use the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (HKD360), which is a little pot of amazing for my eyes both morning and night; it works great as a concealer prep 🙂 The pot is made of a nice study glass that would be safe to keep at home but you’d have to be a little more careful when taking this on a trip. The eye cream itself is easy to scoop out with either your ring finger or a small spatula; its consistency is much like thicker lotion, but it’s not as thick as a cream.

However, I will say that for my skin, I feel like this eye cream would be moisturizing enough for all the months except for the winter as I feel like my skin would need an extra oomph; for that, I normally use the Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream (HKD560) where the cream’s consistency is decidedly much thicker and requires me to warm it up with my ring fingers before applying it onto my eyes. The pot itself is also of a much thicker glass and I would definitely not want to take this one on trips as it’s just too heavy and prone to shattering if dropped. There’s no doubt in my mind that the Bobbi Brown’s eye creams are my top choice for my eyes 🙂

  1. I really wanted to like the Extra Eye Repair Cream more but I still think the Hydrating is better! I use the hydrating for day time and the other for night time and really like both

    1. Hello Aaron!

I completely understand where you are coming from with this; in fact, I might even pair the hydrating eye cream with an eye serum of choice and it would be a-okay for people with dry peepers such as myself 🙂 The Extra Repair one…takes extra warming up with fingers before it can be fully absorbed into the orbital area; it’s a little more time consuming than I’d like, especially in the morning. 🙁

      Thanks for stopping by <3
