After trying this toner out imagefor the past little while now, I’m ready to talk about it 😀 This comes in a Fresh Moist and Intense Moist consistency; in terms of texture, I preferred the latter over the former at this point since I purchased this during Fall and I wanted something a little more hydrating than usual; in the event that my skin ends up liking it quite a bit, I can purchase the Fresh Moist for the warmer months afterwards. If it turns out that the Intense Moist is not hydrating (enough) for me, at least it won’t dry me out and I can pretty much forget about getting the Fresh Moist afterwards :/

imageThe scent is decidedly pomegranate as when I first poured a bit out on a cotton pad and smoothed it out on my face, the scent came on a little stronger than I expected, but it gradually became a much lighter scent before disappearing completely. The consistency is a little syrupy and it does feel a little heavy due to the consistency of the product, which I presume should be geared towards users who have dry skin, even though on the bottle and their website it states that it’s suitable for all skin types. I’m assuming that my skin was happy after using it because it’s combination-dry and I can and always have done well with an extra bit of hydration 🙂

With this toner, there are two ways that you can use it, depending on your skin’s condition and personal preference: a) you can either use a cotton pad and pour the product onto it before smoothing it over your face and neck or b) you could pour it into your hand and  use both of your hands to gently press it onto your face and neck with light, cupping motions. The former method would be for when you would like to use when your skin is feeling relatively normal you don’t have any particular immediate needs; the latter would be when you need an extra oomph of hydration and you’re helping your skin drink it up. I personally use the cotton pad method because I would be doing the pressing method with the Micro Essence afterwards as well and I felt lazy about having to stand there for the next 3-5 minutes (an eternity when you’re in a hurry) patting and pressing products onto your skin 😛 However, I will try out the pressing method with this product when I need an extra boost and most likely if and when I’m in a colder and drier climate than Hong Kong’s current weather conditions 🙂

I’m looking forward to trying this out in Vancouver and Vegas; if this ends up being equally hydrating in the local climate for those places, I think I can call this a holy-grail toner that I can put up there with another holy-grail product, the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Tonic .
