As part of my Winter Skin Care, I have slotted this luxurious neck cream as part of my regime, but really, it’s been an ongoing process ever since Mama Cappuccino generously gifted me this in addition to the Révive Arrête Booster C as she felt that these products were a little too rich for her normal and amazingly clear skin; I’m completely game for extra hydration and moisturization because God knows that I need it since the good skin genes were clearly not passed down to me. 🙁

I’ve mentioned before in my T Galleria discovery that on top of my ANR II face serum, I layer the Révive Fermitif Neck Cream on top of it because I use the ANR II for my face, neck and décolletage. It’s completely understandable that it’s a lot of ground — or skin in this case — to cover for a serum and hefty for your wallet, but anti-aging has got to start with your own routine and consistency and the neck and décolletage are one of the more commonly neglected area for women; it shows signs of aging just as much the face does so it deserves the TLC you give for your face as well. Imagine a nice, firm face but a relatively saggy, wrinkly neck and décolletage; it’s not a pretty sight. As such, I would highly suggest all you beautiful people out there to purchase the travel exclusive 100ml bottle of the ANR II — which is readily available at various retailers such as DFS and Nordstrom — as it really works out to be a better deal than the smaller bottles, especially if you use the serum as extensively and religiously as I do.

Without much further ado, let’s move onto the Révive Fermitif Neck Cream!

I generally only apply this on at night after my shower and ANR II serum as this is really pricey;  texture-wise, this cream is rich but lightweight after application and it has a soothing effect on the skin; in addition, there is a very subtle rose scent that disappears upon application and more importantly, not only did this neck cream leave me with soft, smooth skin, I also did not experience any allergic reactions, red splotches or itchiness afterwards.

Although the firming results are not as dramatic — potentially because my skin has not reached the stage where I need actual lifting, but rather, I prefer taking preventative measures — I found that the neck lines that I used to have were a bit smoother and less prominent after a solid month of using it religiously every night. I’ll also note that I make it a point to normally put on a good sunscreen on my face, neck and décolletage, and after using this neck cream, I make sure that I never forget to do so because of the constant reminder that I’m using a very expensive neck cream and I should do my due diligence in making sure that I’m doing everything that I can to maintain my skin’s condition.

All in all, my verdict is:

  1. if you have disposable income and you’re on the preventative measure front, or you feel that your skin is ready for some subtle lifting, this is definitely a very good, stable investment to make for your skincare collection;
  2. if you feel that your skin isn’t exactly in the firming territory yet, and nor do you have disposable income, you can make your night cream pull double-duty and make sure that you moisturize your neck and décolletage after you’re done massaging your cream onto your face; in a perfect world for everyone, this would be done much like how I would layer a face serum first and then the face/neck cream for the face and the neck, but please do what you can to stay beautiful 🙂

If you are interested in purchasing a separate product for your neck instead, perhaps you can pop over to Sephora as they have something for everyone these, or check these out as they’re on my Christmas/Blogging Wishlist):
