Le Métier de Beauté Flawless Foundation
As mentioned earlier in my Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation review, I received this foundation from Mama Cappuccino and after trying it out for a month on its own and mixed with the Bobbi Brown foundation, I feel that I’m ready to review it.
Readily available online and in (higher-end) department stores, this foundation is luxurious to the touch; this is a medium-coverage with supreme ingredients and it ends with a dewy, flawless finish. This lightweight, oil-free, light-diffusing formula evens out your skin tone and imperfections for a luminous, natural look. The hydrating emollients and age-defying ingredients come together to create a creamy formula that can be effortlessly applied and blended for flawless coverage that lasts all day. The soft finish leaves skin looking natural and refreshed. However, the low SPF 8 coverage is a little disappointing here, so I would recommend pairing this with a primer or daytime moisturizer with higher SPF for better sun protection.
I’ll admit it; it felt oh-so-riche of me to mix this expensive foundation with my Bobbi Brown one – which worked out like a charm – so I had to try it out on its own. The shade matched my skin tone to a T and it was hydrating enough to last me throughout the day; my skin didn’t look patchy or dehydrated even when I spend a good 4 – 5 hours under a blasting air conditioner in the office.
Overall, this is definitely a great foundation to splurge on for medium, buildable coverage; for the price tag, the foundation is rather fuss-free and easily managed. For the money, this is definitely worth the splurge 🙂
