Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-aging Face Cream Review

Having tried out its eye balm in the series and being completely blown away by how hydrated my orbital area felt, I was super excited to try out the face cream because of my combination-dry skin that has only gotten extra drier during this season <3

Ladies, this line and face cream in particular do not disappoint.

Housed in a luxurious gold jar, the packaging of the cream is on par with Estée Lauder’s luxury line but I am a little hung up on the fact that the cream doesn’t have a) SPF or b) a spatula. In fact, I think it would be better for this as a night cream — since it’s so moisturising — because of the lack of SPF; for hygienic reasons, I feel that this cream would be pretty awesome in tube form, like its face mask, as well as making it more travel-friendly. In terms of the texture of the cream, it reminded me of a fancy light Nivea cream that has a lot more benefits in there. The cream goes on a little thick but it melted into my skin fairly quickly and the next morning, my skin felt so soft and well-moisturized without looking greasy or shiny. For those of you who have extra dry skin, a couple drops of your favorite facial oil will definitely take this cream’s potential to the next level for your skin 🙂

Overall, this one is a great hydrating cream which does not grease up one’s skin; I feel that this cream would suit those who have hydration as their primary concern as well as (preventative) anti-aging concerns on their horizons. For my combination-dry skin, I’m looking into using this as my night cream during the winter and getting the light version — currently only available in North America — for the day-time or fall/summer seasons since I normally apply a separate SPF during the day <3

Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Eye Balm Review

Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Eye Balmimage

Price: HKD516.82/CAD58 (Travel Set Price) | HKD395/CAD72 (Individual)
Volume: 15ml

Continuing with my Sephora haul, I’ve given this new eye balm a good run for the past three weeks or so, in combination with my ANR II Eye Serum as well as on its own. I first wanted to try out the Eye Balm because I have dry-ass eyes and my concealer would crease and settle into the fine lines that I probably created from rubbing my eyes during allergy season 🙁 So when I popped to a regular Estée Lauder counter, I noticed that their staple line, the Advanced Night Repair, is now placed together with the Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-aging line.

In combination with what I’d noted earlier about having to really up the ante with anti-aging for preventative purposes, what makes this anti-aging line different — for me in this case — is that any potential scent that it has quickly dissipates and its products are highly moisturizing and rich for my combination-dry skin; it does not, however, end up making my skin greasy like what many uber-rich creams do. This eye balm does not disappoint either as I’ve used this product without getting any irritations, bumps or milia whether using it on its own or with the ANR II Eye Serum.

Personally, I love layering my eye products so I found that I much more preferred the creaminess and hydration that I got from using the ANR II Eye Serum and this Eye Balm; my undereye concealer has gone on smoothly over this Eye Balm, much like how the ANR II Eye Cream worked out as well so that’s a double-win for me; I will note here that it’s working well for me during the winter, but I can see how this might be a tad bit too heavy during the warmer/more humid months here in Hong Kong, and I would probably switch it out for the ANR II Eye Cream instead.

All in all, I’m loving this new Eye balm; ladies with dry, sensitive peepers who are on the hunt for great preventative anti-aging products, try this out! <3

Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-aging Mask Boost Review

Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-aging Mask Boostimage

Price: HKD 610 (DFS)
Volume: 75ml

As much as I’d prefer not to think about it, anti-aging products have been on the horizon for me, whether I like it or not, and I have been slowly including prevention-based products in my skincare routine. One of my favourite activities to do in my down time is to put on a face mask, day or night, and either relax in bed and Netflix or listen to music in the evenings or re-energize myself with a good cup of coffee and be on my laptop blogging or internet-window-binge shop <3

One of my recent forays and discoveries would be Estée Lauder’s Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging line, which albeit has been a longstanding staple in the North American market but has only recently made its way to Asia; I decided to try out its face mask as I’m almost at the end of the tube for my Origins Overnight Face Mask and I wanted to try something new. Marketed as a multi-action mask with IntuiGen Technology and anti-fatigue complex, the mask promises to bring out a more well-rested, hydrated and radiant complexion and reduce the look of multiple signs of aging. Formulated without parabens, sulfates or phthalates, the face mask is super nourishing and amazing to use when your skin is look a tad dull or when you need a pick-me-up after a long week or flight.

Avoiding the eye area, I applied the face mask generously over my freshly cleaned and exfoliated face and neck. I noticed that it does have a slight fragrance that quickly dissipates after application; as a general rule, I’m worried about floral scents and even though I’ve had issues with Estée Lauder’s Resilience Lift and Time Zone lines due to the fragrance and potency of the anti-aging ingredients, I noticed that with the Global Anti-aging line I haven’t had any issues. For me, this could be a reason how this line is paired with the Advanced Night Repair series and I’ve been able to safely use their products with my skin’s conditions consistently improving thereafter. After approximately five minutes, I gently tissued it off before following up with my usual serums and potions in my skincare routine 🙂 When I woke up the next morning, my skin was dewy, bouncy and hydrated; I noticed that with some masks my face can look a tad greasy the next morning but with this one, I just felt that skin looked…healthy. Glowy. Bright.

Sweet Jesus. Are my eyes deceiving me or does my skin actually look bouncy and happy?!

I will note here that this would be an awesome mask to pop on before putting on makeup for special days or events where you’d like your skin to look better than usual as I decided to try this out in the morning a couple days later just before putting on my makeup; I noticed that not only did my makeup sit all right throughout my work day, it was dewy without looking greasy or like I had topped up my regular moisturizer with a facial oil that didn’t quite sink in. Bearing in mind that the suggested usage is three times per week, it is easy incorporate this mask with any of your favourite masks during the week and I noticed that although this is a highly hydrating mask, I had no issues with skin irritations or breakouts as of the time I started using this mask till now.

All in all, you can bet your bottom dollar that this is on my repurchase list once I run out <3
